ME students design front pivoted parking of vehicles

A group of S8 B Tech (ME) students of the College – John Antony, Ashish Joy, V U Anand, E S Jishnu, and P Akshay – under the guidance of Mr N P Rajesh (Asso. Prof, ME Dept), designed and developed a car with a mechanism which enables the car to park with ease: front pivoted and with rear wheels having bell crank steering mechanism and 360⁰ rotation. While parking in parallel, this mechanism helps the vehicle to park with the least space for positioning, thus utilizing the parking area efficiently.
