Texas Instruments awards Rs 5 lakhs to five stars of ECE Dept

Congatulations Aftab Ashraf A V, Aishwarya Pradip, Aiswarya Rajeev, Anjali P and Akash Sathian! They are indeed five stars of the College, of the ECE Dept!!

The entire project idea was conceptualised by Mr Ramesh C R (AP, ECE Dpt) and he guided the team of students in implementing the Project and presenting it in the the Design challenge. News & Events Team congratulates Mr Ramesh for his efforts to bring such glory to Vidya.

The five stars of Vidya presented a product (Low Cost Non-Invasive Hemoglobin Tester) in the semi-finals of India Innovation Design Challenge Contest 2017 held at IIM-Bangalore on 04 June 2018. Now Texas Instruments have awarded them Rs 5 lakhs for converting their project concept into a real world product.

They were one among the 30 finalist teams of the Indian Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 (IICDC-2017) initiated by Texas Instruments in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology (DST) and coordinated by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov.
