Senior faculty members of Vidya attend Faculty Development Program at TCS Learning Center

It has been the constant endeavor of Vidya International Charitable Trust to develop the competencies of the faculty and staff at the institutions under the Trust. The Trust has proposed a yearlong exercise to impart suitable and appropriate management and leadership training to the faculty members. The first of such training was carried out by TCS at their Peepul Park Learning Center, Thiruvananthapuram, on  18 January 2019. This one-day program was attended by 15 senior faculty from the Thrissur campus and five faculty from the Kilimanoor campus of Vidya. The focus of the session was on the following themes:

1. “Building the self – personal brand”
2. “Your attribute responsibility”
3. “Enhancing the communication perceptible.”

The importance of a teacher as a role model was emphasized taking into account the importance of being an enabler, facilitator, coach, mentor and friend.
