GDSC VAST Celebrates GCCP Campaign Success

The GCCP (Google Cloud Career Practitioners Campaign) by Google provides the students an opportunity to kickstart their learning on Cloud technology, and implement the learning by enabling them to build projects on the Google Cloud console. As part of this journey, the campaign will also help prepare for Google Cloud certifications.  Successfully registered students of the campaign will get a chance to access Cloud Engineering Learning Path on Google Cloud Skill Boosts Platform.

The GDSC (Google Developer Students Club) VAST is pleased to announce that 46 students have successfully completed the Google Cloud Career Practitioner (GCCP) Campaign. In celebration of this achievement, the GDSC VAST Core team organized a goodie distribution ceremony, which was graced by Dr Ramani Bai V (HoD, CSE Dept), Mr Gouthaman P K (Adjunct faculty, CSE Dept and Patron Trustee, VICT), and Ms Mahalakshmy A (Staff Co-ordinator, GDSC VAST and Asst Prof, CSE Dept)

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Gayathri Satheeshkumar (lead of GDSC VAST, S8 CSE Dept) . Dr. Ramani Bai congratulated the students for their successful completion and encouraged them to participate in initiatives and progress through extracurricular activities. Mr Gouthaman applauded the students and facilitators and spoke about the relevance of Cloud technology in the current era.Special recognition was accorded to Jesto KJ (S6, ECE Dept ), the Cloud Facilitator for the GCCP event, for his meticulous efforts during the three-month program. In addition, Aadithye N and Abel John, both core team members and students of S8 CSE A, were commended for their project submission (mynotes, https://startling-dusk-f72d2c.netlify.app) for the event. The students who completed the GCCP received t-shirts and flasks as goodies sent by Google Cloud Career Practitioner(GCCP) Campaign’ team as a token of appreciation.
