National Conference NAVISSANCE 2013

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a two day National level Conference on Emerging Trends in Energy Conservation? ‘NAVISSANCE 2013’ during 15?16, February 2013. The main objective of the conference was to create a common platform to share ideas,  practices,  and  innovations  in  energy  conservation.  The  programme  was inaugurated  by  Mr.  V  G  Sankaranarayanan  (Former  Chairman  and  Managing  Director, FACT).  Various  papers  related  to  this  area  were  presented  by  invited  guests  and  staff members. Poster making competition and quiz competition were carried out in relation with  the  conference.  Students  of  various  departments  and  staff  members  were participated actively in this programme.
