Brahmasmruthi 2015

The fifth death anniversary of Er K R Brahmadathan, the Founder Executive Director, Vidya International Charitable Trust, was observed as Brahmasmrithi 2015 in the after- noon of 17 September 2015. Sri C. K. Jayarajan, Author Trustee, VICT presided over the function. Sri T. N. Prathapan, Hon’ble MLA, Kodungallur was the chief guest of the programme. Sri Prathapan, while presenting his inaugural talk, exhorted the student community to draw lessons from the lives of people like late Er K. R. Brahmadathan and to be socially committed individuals and to give back to society in whatever way one could. Sri Sasidharan K., Retd. District and Sessions Judge, participated in the programme as a Guest of Honour and made a brief speech. Er. G. Mohanachandran, Executive Director, VICT, Dr. Latha Raj, Director (Student Welfare & Social Projects), Er. K. V. Abdu, Retd. Deputy Chief Engineer, KSEB, Sri K. K. Komalakumar, Brahmayoga Kendram, Thrissur, Prof. M. Rajendran, Advisory Committee Member, Brahma Social Outreach Programme spoke during the function. There was yoga demonstrations by two groups of persons: one group consisted of students of the College and the second group consisted of children practicing yoga in a nearby yoga centre. A small video, created by Mr. K. P.
