Kecheri Puzha Nadatham

The NSS unit of VAST, in association with Choondal Grama Panchayath and Sasthra Sahithya Parishad, organized the “KECHERI PUZHA NADATHAM” program   on 30-04-2017.  Mr. P K Biju, MP, Alathur Constituency, inaugurated the program. The presidential address  was delivered by Mr. K S Kareem, President, Choondal Grama Panchayath. As part of this program, NSS volunteers carried out a detailed study about of Kecheri River and gathered a wide range of data like measurements about length and breadth of river, various sources polluting the water, analysis about water pumping facilities for nearby agricultural irrigation purposes etc. The program was started from Aayammukku and ended at Aloor. Approximately 40 NSS volunteers actively participated in the program.
