Concept Design – Rehabilitation of TMD

Surya Surendran, S4 M.Tech (Embedded System), developed a concept design for a robotic exoskeleton for the neurological rehabilitation of Temporo Mandibular Disorder (TMD). Here, a PC based GUI interface and EMG and EEG based feedback system are used. The proposed system presents a lightweight, portable solution aimed at promoting user engagement in the rehabilitation process. This project was guided by Ramesh C. R (AP, ECE), Dr. S. Swapna Kumar (HoD, ECE), Sruthi M. (AP, ECE) and Bhadran V. K. (Assoc. Director, C-DAC) and it was funded by Center for Engineering Research and Development (CERD).
