Vidya Makes Blind Student Self-Reliant on Library Usage

The final year B.Tech students of  ECE Department, Samson C. V., Anupama M. S., Amritha V., Archana M. and Ashina Ajith, developed a “Library Assistance System” which helps blind students become self-reliant in using a library. The system is capable of auto-detection of  books in the rack and the student can select the desired book by hand-held device without taking an external support. The project has been funded by KSCSTE and guided by Mr.Ramesh C. R., Asst. Professor, ECE Dept., and supervised by Mr. Anil M., Asst.Professor, ECE Dept.
