Paul Chakola, Head of T&P, honoured in the 7th Annual Conference of PMI Kerala

Mr. Paul Chakola, Head of Training and Placement Cell of the College, attended the 7th Annual Conference of Project Management Institute (PMI) Kerala Chapter – WAVES 2017 held at the Al Saj Convention Center Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, June 10, 2017. The Project Management Institute, headquartered in Pennsylvania, United States, is the world’s leading not-for-profit association for the project management professionals.

The Annual Conference of the PMI was inaugurated by the Hon. Governor of Kerala, Shri. P Sathasivam, Retd. Chief Justice. The keynote talks at this one day conference were delivered by (i) Dr. Jayakumar, MD & CEO of Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd., (ii) Padma Bhushan Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai,  CEO and MD BrahMos Aerospace, and (iii) Dr. Saji Gopinath, Chairman Kerala Startup Mission & Director IIITM-K. The other key speakers included: Dr. Roshy John, Global Practice Head at TCS, Mrs. Lekshmi Kumar, Asian School of Business, Mr. Vinay Menon, Mr. Syed Razik, Mr. Tejas Sura, etc.

Mr. Paul Chakola was specially honoured  during the Conference for being a long standing member of PMI Kerala Chapter. This recognition in the form of a certificate was handed over to Mr. Chakola by Dr. Saji Gopinath, Director IIITM-K and Chairman Kerala Startup Mission in the presence of Shri. Raj Kalady, MD PMI India, and Shri. Jayakrishnan Nair, President PMI Kerala Chapter.
