Faculty attend 3-day Train-the-Trainer Programme of Infosys
Dr. Ramani Bai V (Professor of CSE), Mr. Sivadasan E T (Associate Professor of CSE), Ms. Salkala K S (Assistant Professor of Computer Appications) and Ms. Siji K B ((Assistant Professor of Computer Appications) attended a 3-day Train the Trainer Program conducted by the Infosys Limited on “Python and Python-Database Integration” at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Kodakara, Thrissur, during 28 – 30 June 2017.
The Indian multinational corporation Infosys has created educational infrastructure to enable their new recruits to attain global benchmarks. They have a vibrant mix of faculty specialized in computer science and experienced in industry practices, who enable fresh recruits to be “industry ready”. This program is a platform through which they share the latest trends and developments in IT industry with the academia.
The objectives of the program were:
- To enable the faculty of Campus Connect partnering institutions with Infosys industry experience, which in turn will help students to be “industry-ready” by practicing the learning in the courses delivered or projects implemented at the institution.
- To provide an opportunity to the members of faculty to get exposed to Python Programming and Python-Database integration
- To provide a networking platform to the partner colleges leading to a mutual learning experience.
