Students of the College throng IEDC Summit 2017

IEDC Summit’17, an avenue for participants of various IEDC units across the State to come together, to share the success stories, to learn from each other’s failure, to show-case innovative products and to develop strong networks that go a long way in developing sustainable enterprises, was held on 19 August 2017. The summit was held as two sets of panel discussions to learn from two levels of entrepreneurs: one, who had succeeded from Kerala and established their business across the globe; two, who were the young generation entrepreneurs who aspired to shake the world in future through their innovative enterprises. The dignitaries were  Mr Aruna Sundararajan IAS , Secretary to MEITy, Mr. M Sivasankar IAS IT Secretary, Mr. Rajan Anandan, Managing Director, Google India, Dr  Kuncheria P Issac, Vice Chancellor APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Dr. Saji Gopinath, CEO Kerala Startup Mission, Dr. Jayasankar Prasad C, Director ICFOSS and 20+ speakers. 3000+ students participated in the event. Project expo, Startup expo, talks, investors and Startup communities were showcased in the event. As many as 11 students from the College, Viswanath, Anagha, Mohammed Shahal M K, Pournami R Menon, Athira K (all from  of CE Department), Adithya Venugopal, Nandini R, Gokul Prakash K, Jeethu P J, Akshay P A (all from PE Department), Nagil K N of ECE Department, along with Ms.  Swapana E. V. M, IEDC Nodal Officer, attended this event.
