A talk on “Electronic Design and Opportunities in the field of Design”

Mr. Zaher V Abdul Rahaman, a senior hardware  engineer from Bosch, Coimbatore, interacted with the final year B. Tech. (ECE) students  of the College on  07.10.2017. He  gave  a detailed  description  of  the concepts underlying electronic design and talked at length about the opportunities in the field of design.  The students were also made aware of the importance of star-up projects as these projects give them an exposure to hardware electronics industry.

He explained in detail the concepts of schematics which is a simple data structure that lists every connection in a design, and also  layouts which show the exact physical locations of every component on a PCB. The interaction was very fruitful and informative and was well appreciated by the students.
