Dr. Agnisarman Namboothiri (Dean, PG Studies) honored for his poetic talent

Dr. M. N. Agnisarman Namboothiri, Dean (PG Studies), has been selected for the Kavanakouthukam-Nedumpily Award for the best mukthakam published in the Malayalm monthly Kavanakauthukam in the year 2016. Mukthakam is a genre of Malayalam poetry where the poem consists of a single stanza in the form of a sloka expressing a deep philosophical or devotional or sometimes satirical thought or idea or feeling. Dr Agnisarman Namboothiri was selected by a panel of judges comprising of the well known Malayalam littérateurs Prof. K. P. Sankaran Prof. S. K. Vasanthan and Dr. P. C. Murali Madhavan.
