Independence Day Celebration – 2018
On 15 August 2018, the volunteers of NSS technical cell of the College gathered in front of the main portico of the college for celebrating the 72nd Independence Day of our country. The programme started with all volunteers and others present singing the NSS song. The national flag was hoisted by Dr Saji C B, Principal. The Principal addressed the volunteers and delivered a speech about the journey of our country from being under the British rule to being ruled by ourselves. He spoke about the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters and also stressed the importance of being aware of the present challenges in our society.
NSS volunteers Haritha and Nirmal Bino delivered patriotic speeches on the occasion. Sweets were distributed to all those who participated in the programme.
