Makeintern and E-Cell at IIT-Kharagpur conduct workshop for S8 CE students

Makeintern, an online portal which provides internship opportunities in India such as summer internships, paid internships, etc., and the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at IIT Kharagpur jointly conducted a two-day workshop on “Building Construction” for final year B Tech students in Civil Engineering Department, on 16 – 17 February 2019. A total of 57 students participated in the workshop which delivered content regarding BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and project management and gave practical exposure to the software used in construction industry for the same. The workshop was lead by the resource person Mr Uppe Vijayanand, Founder and Director, Anand Design and Drafting and Twech Engineering Services, Hyderabad.

The second day of the workshop saw a competition held for the participants on the content delivered during the workshop. The top five scorers in the competition will be selected to participate in a national level competition to be held at a later date at IIT Kharagpur.
