Some history

Formerly, TCS was visiting selected  campuses in India with proven established standards to recruit personnel for their growing organisation. Vidya was one among those few selected campuses. From the last academic year onward, TCS stopped this practice and started the current practice of holding a national qualifier test and then selecting candidates based on the performance in the Test for conducting further steps in the selection process. The Test conducted in 2018 was labelled as TCS Ninja and now it has been renamed as TCS National Qualifier Test. In the Test conducted this year, Vidya’s students were competing with students across all campuses in the whole of India. Though data are not available regarding the performance of students of other colleges, it appears that collectively Vidya’s students have performed very well in the Test conducted this year.
