Civil Engineering Association activities inaugurated

The activities of the Civil Engineering Association of the College for the academic year 2019 – 20 was inaugurated  in a programme held on 04 September 2019 at the college Auditorium in the presence of the Principal, the Executive Director, and the students and faculty members of the Department. The guest of honour for the function was Mr K V Mohammed Zakir (MD, KAP India Constructions Pvt Ltd).

Dr Justine Jose (Prof and Head, CE Dept) delivered  the inaugural address followed by the presidential address  by  Principal Dr Saji C B. Mr Shinz Antony (MD, UIT Group of Institutions) introduced the Chief Guest. Er G  Mohanachandran, Executive Director, VICT  gave felicitations. Mr Renjith R (AP, CE Dept) presented an overview of the activities of the Association planned for the academic year 2019 – 20.

After the inaugural session, there was a special talk by the Chief Guest Mr K V Mohammed Zakir on the theme “Recent Advancements and Challenges Faced by Civil Engineers”. The program ended with a host of cultural programs organized by the third year B Tech students of the Dept.
