Head of CE Dept chairs a session in National Convention of Architectural Engineers

Dr C Justine Jose (Professor and Head, CE Dept) chaired a session in the 35th National Convention of Architectural Engineers organised by the Institution of Engineers (India), Trichur Local Centre on 7 – 8 December 2019.

Dr T M Gunaraja, President, IEI inaugurated the 35th National Convention of Architectural Engineers hosted by Trichur Local Centre at Trichur on the theme “Re-engineering of Buildings” on 07 December 2019. Prof C Raveendranath, Hon’ble Minister for General Education, Government of Kerala, Architectural Engineering Division Board Members, Council Members amongst others graced the occasion. The prestigious T S Narayana Rao Memorial Lecture was delivered by Dr P Gireesan, Superintending Engineer, Kerala Water Authority on the topic “Re-engineering of Buildings – An Exploration into Timber Technology” followed by a State-of-the Art Lecture by Prof V K Lakshmanan Nair, Advisor, Kerala State Nimrithi Kendra. Also on this occasion, three Eminent Engineering Personalities were felicitated and IEI Young Engineers Award was given to two recipients.
