IEDC conducts Orientation Programme for lateral entry students

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Vidya conducted an Orientation Programme for its newly joined members  on 19 January 2020. The Programme was intended for about 30 students who had joined the College under the Lateral Entry scheme and who had become members of IEDC.

The introductory session was conducted by Mr Aswin Vasanth (ECE Dept). After the introductions, a few fun games were organised by Vignesh Sahajan (S4 B Tech ME), Harishankar (S4 B Tech EEE) and Arjun (S4 B Tech EEE). Ms Swapana E V M, IEDC Nodal Officer, explained the KTU activity points available to IEDC members, the processes of project development and the opportunities for getting funds from Govt. There were sessions on photography conducted by Vivek (S4 B TechEEE), and on logo development by Gadha (S4 B Tech CE) and idea development by Shanmugadas (S4 B Tech ME).
