Vidya celebrates Independence Day 2020

The College celebrated the 74th Independence Day of our nation on 15 August 2020 keeping all COVID 19 protocols.  The national flag was hoisted by Dr Saji C B, Principal. Mr Cinto P A and Mr Anil Melepurath participated in the flag hoisting function.

The NSS units of Vidya organised several programs related to the celebration of Independence day. The Independence day messages by Principal and Dr Sudha Balagopalan, Dean Academics, were shared to the volunteers as pre-recorded videos. A video of the pledge related to independence day was created with the participation of passed out and active NSS volunteers and NSS programme officers. The video was shared through social media platforms. A patriotic song contest was organised by the volunteers in which participants were asked to share videos of singing patriotic songs individually or as group.
