Junior students of CSE Dept organise online farewell to seniors
“C U Soon”, an online adieu for the B Tech (CSE) 2016 – 20 batch, was held as a YouTube live event on the 17 October 2020. The event was organized by the students of the S7 B Tech (CSE) batches under the special guidance of the Head of the Department Dr Ramani Bai V and the staff co-ordinators Ms Divya K V, Ms Shameem S, Ms Geethu P C, and M. Nakulraj. The online farewell, the first of its kind to be held in Vidya was a grand success.
The invites to the function had been sent out priorly and there was a great turnout for the live event.
The program started with Dr Ramani Bai addressing the audience live. Pre-recorded messages from tutors had been collected earlier and they were presented during the program. Hemanth Janesh of CSE-A batch and Niveditha Raghunath of CSE-B batch shared their experiences during their years in Vidya. Online games were also organized where the participants interacted through the Google meet that was organized parallelly. A montage video and a tribute video were also presented. An Instagram page by the name “The ones” was made to commemorate the love and respect for the senior batch.
