IEDC Vidya organises webinar on “Career Opportunities through Entrepreneurship”

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Vidya organised a webinar on “Career Opportunities through Entrepreneurship” on 1 November 2020. This was the first programme under IEDC after Mr Anil Melepurath took over as the new Nodal Officer of IEDC.

The event was started at 11 am with a prayer. The welcome address was delivered by Aakash M K, CEO, IEDC, VAST. Dr Saji C B, Principal, delivered the presidential address.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was Mr Akhil Madav (Maker Manager at Cisco thingQbator, NASSCOM Foundation). In his talk, he mentioned many situations that a fresher might get stuck with while handling a startup. He emphasized the importance of having a strong team for a successful startup. He shared many past difficulties faced by the founders of social media platforms and companies like Whatsapp, Orkut, Nokia, and how many of them have overcame them.

Mr Anil Melepurath (Nodal officer, IEDC VAST) offered felicitations and Yogita R Nair proposed vote of thanks. Anchoring was done by Mukund Harikumar. The programme was coordinated by Shanmugadas T M.
