EEE Dept organises webinar on power quality issues

The EEE Dept of Vidya organised a webinar on “Power Quality Issues and it’s Mitigation Techniques” on 19 December 2020. Mr Johny P A, Executive Engineer (Rtd), KSEB was the resource person for the webinar. As many as 50 students and faculty members of the Dept participated.

The session started with a welcome speech by Dr Mary P Varghese (HoD in-charge, EEE Dept). Dean Academics Dr Sudha Balagopalan presided over the function. Executive Director Er G Mohanachanran gave the felicitation address.

The session covered very elaborately the various power quality issues and mitigation techniques in a detailed manner. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Aswin T Surendran, who was the coordinator of the program along with Mr Vishnurach K R.
