Special invited talk on “Electrical Safety: Rules and Regulations”

The EEE Dept of Vidya organised a technical talk on “Electrical Safety: Rules and Regulations” on 6 January 2021. Mr Athul Thomas Tharakan, Assistant Electrical Inspector, Thrissur was the resource person for the session. As many as 50 final year B Tech (EEE) students and faculty members of the Dept participated in the programme.

The session started with a welcome speech by Mr Vishnu Rach K R (AP-cum-Research Assistant, EEE Dept). The session started with a presentation on statistics on electrical accidents in Kerala and the field experiences of the resource person related to investigation of electrical accidents. The session elaborately covered various rules and regulations related to electricity. The talk concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Arun Xavier, who was the coordinator of the program along with Mr Vishnu Rach K R.
