UAE chapter of Association of Vidya Alumni organizes football tournament

The UAE chapter of the Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA), as part of the Engineering Premier League, organized a football tournament christened VKICK 3.0. As many as 24 teams representing the alumni associations of various engineering colleges functioning in UAE  participated in the tournament held at the Dubai Scout Mission Ground. Mr Sreekumar, Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT) Coordinator, kicked off and inaugurated the tournament. Representatives of the sponsors, namely, Sport Gear, Safe Gear, Ibrand Connect, World Vision and Art Facto were the special guests at the inaugural ceremony. A team of medical professionals from Astor was present on the ground for all medical assistance. The team representing the alumni of Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET), Vellore  won in the Classic category and the team representing the Anjuman Engineering College, Bhatkal won in the Masters category.
