Expert from STRIIM interacts with faculty and students

Mr Purushotham Balakrishnan, Vice President of Product Development at STRIIM, visited Vidya campus on 22 April 2022. He is also responsible for Application Integration Strategy and Quality Assurance for all products of STRIIM. STRIIM is a Palo Alto, USA based company with offices at Bengaluru and Chennai. They are into development of data integration products. Their product combines real-time data ingestion, stream processing, pipeline monitoring, and real-time delivery with validation in a single product. STRIIM’s unified, real-time data streaming and integration platform for analytics and operations collects data in real time from enterprise databases (using non-intrusive change data capture), log files, messaging systems, and sensors, and delivers it to virtually any target on-premises or in the cloud with sub-second latency enabling real-time operations and analytics.

It was indeed a privilege to host Mr Purushotham Balakrishnan who took time to discuss industry-academic matters with the heads of Computer Science and Computer Applications departments at Principal’s office. Later in the day he spent time to address the final year students of the 2022 pass out batch. He enlightened them about the company, their products, about their work culture and about the kind of work done and about the opportunities available in this domain.

Incidentally, STRIIM is offering internship opportunities for the final year students who if selected can avail this immediately after their final semester university examinations.
