Hearty welcome to all first year B Tech Students: Induction Training Programme 

The opening year in B.Tech education  is an imperative time for all the newly admitted B Tech students (2022 – 26 Batch). It indicates unique phase in their learning, where they have been given control of the choice of what and where to study. Vidya provides quality education to the students  through well experienced faculty and staff, excellent infrastructural facilities, digital library and well equipped laboratories.

The Induction Training Programme is co-ordinated by Vidya’s Trainers Club, ‘SAMEEKSHA’ under the leadership of  Mr Alex Chacko (Asst Prof, ME Dept) intended to explore the newly joined B Tech students at their level best and allows them to experience the joy of learning, stand up to peer stress, the base for character building etc.

The Inaugural session of  Induction Training Programme 2022 was conducted on 19 October 2022 at 10.00am in the College Auditorium. The welcome address was delivered by Mr Paul Chakola (Head, Placement and Training).  Dr Saji C.B (Principal)  presided over the function. Mr Suresh Lal  (Executive Director, VICT) inaugurated the function. Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean-Academics)  and Ms Nisha Valsan (PTA president) offered felicitations. Mr Alex Chacko (Convenor, Sameeksha and Asst Prof , ME Dept) proposed vote of thanks.

An interactive session on ‘Effective Parenting’ by Mr C K Suresh(Expert Student  Counsellor) was  also arranged for  parents.
