NSS volunteers conduct survey 

The regular activities of the NSS volunteers  have  been extending  to more areas in Thrissur district .

The Volunteers of NSS units of Vidya conducted a survey on 16  October 2022 at Chavakkad about Harithamithram app. Prior to the session, a training class was conducted by Mr Anil M (Asst Prof, ECE Dept)  about how to use the Android application. The program was inaugurated by Mr Umar (Councillor, Chavakkad Municipality). Each Volunteer Team was accompanied by panchayath members for helping them in all the activities. The volunteers were able to collect information directly by scanning QR code.Co-ordinator, Haritha Karma Sena appreciated the involvement of all Volunteers. Mr Shine P Xavier (Programme Officer and Asst Prof, CSE Dept) co-ordinated the event.

Harithamithram app

The Harithamithram app helps local bodies to monitor the field activities of Haritha Karma Sena members and redress grievances. The app comes with a provision to file complaints so that authorities can initiate immediate redressal measures.
