AIML Dept bids Farewell to Ms Aparna S Balan – Embarking on a New Academic Journey

The AIML Dept bid a warm farewell to Ms Aparna S Balan (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) on 31 October 2023. Ms Aparna who began her career at Vidya in 2006, made a significant impact as the first faculty member in the MCA Department. Her noteworthy achievement of securing a full-time PhD scholarship at the University of Palermo, Italy, is a testament to her unwavering dedication.

During the farewell gathering, the faculty and staff members expressed their gratitude to Ms Aparna through a token of appreciation. Students joined in the farewell function, conveying their fondness through a delightful cake-cutting ceremony. Dr Sunitha C (Vice Principal and HoD, AIML Dept took the opportunity to speak about Ms Aparna’s significant contributions, underscoring her role in the department’s progress.
