Vidya hosts two days workshop on Bridging Excellence: Aligning Outcome – Based Education with NAAC Accreditation

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is a government organization in India that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
To facilitate and build awareness on NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) Accreditation and its benefits to the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), two days workshop on ‘Bridging Excellence: Aligning Outcome – Basesd Education with NAAC Accreditation’ was held in Vidya during 29 – 30 January 2024 under the auspices of IQAC VAST and ISTE VAST Chapter to know Institution, its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities through an informed review process.
Expert resource persons Prof. Dr R Kalavathy, Prof. Dr M A Dorai Rangaswamy, Prof. Dr Vasantha Kumar and Mr S J Davis Hans handled different sessions and provided expertise and the necessary inputs for documentations and fortifying the procedures.
Dr Jeeva K A (Institutional Co-ordinator – NAAC & Prof, ECE Dept) co-ordinated the sessions.
Through an array of meetings and discussions with criteria team members, The workshop served as a platform for exchange of experiences regarding best educational practices for quality enhancement and strengthening the NAAC processes.
