Aptitude refresher training and Pre-placement talks for the 2021-25 batch students
A three full day aptitude refresher training was provided to all students of the 2021-25 batch. This is to ensure students are given a quick refresher on the topics so as to help them prepare for the forthcoming placement season. Broad areas covered during the three day training were:
- Quantitative skills
- Verbal aptitude
- Logical reasoning skills
- Data interpretation skills
During this training,the students were given an overview of identified topics, shortcuts, formulas and tips to solve the problems. Off-course practice is essential to ensure that the students gain speed and accuracy to solve the questions in the limited time period as part of the various placement selection processes.
Expert external trainers handled these sessions so as to give the students a first-hand exposure to the type of questions and pattern typically asked in any fresher engineering graduate placement drive. The training was held at the campus between Tuesday, July 23, 2024 and Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Final year students have also been provided with a pre-placement talk to let them know about the career tracks available to them by way of higher education and job opportunities. They were told about what to expect during the campus recruitment drives, the category of companies, eligibility criteria, their selection process, interview process, etc. At this point of time both CAT and GATE national examinations have been notified.
