Awareness session on Unified Threat Management Device

In order to guard computer networks from various types of threats, Globe Solutions provided a half day awareness session regarding the basic configuration and operations on 10 September 2024. The session was held as part of the UTM (Unified Threat Management) device up gradation process .

Mr Ananthu S S (Sophos Certified Professional) served as  the technical expert. Mr Shali K R (Systems Manager), Mr Arjun K (IT Support Associate), Mr Jerin George (HW & Network Technician), Mr Maneesh P P  (HW & Network Technician) and Ms  Chitraja (Trade Instructor, AIML Dept) attended the session.

Unified Threat Management (UTM)
UTM stands for Unified Threat Management, is a combination of hardware and software, used to connect the Internet connections from the outside world to the internal computer networks in the campus. Purpose of this device is to implement various policies to access the Internet resource by the users. This is also used to manage, control the user level Internet traffic.
