‘Sasneham Oru Oonu’ by NSS volunteers

NSS realize that lending a feeding hand benefits the volunteers by improving the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

With this motto, NSS units of Vidya implemented the NSS programme christened “Sasneham Oru Oonu” on 24 September 2024, the day celebrated as the NSS day.The programme conveys the fact of providing food for the needed people.

As part of this about 100 Pothichooru (wrapped meals) was provided for the needy people residing at Thrissur round. The food was provided in the afternoon by the NSS Volunteers.

The program was expertly coordinated by NSS Volunteer Secretaries Aswathy E S (S5, CSE Dept), Mrithyunjay R (S5, EEE Dept), Nistal K Paul (S5, ME Dept), Devika Mothilal (S5, ECE Dept), Obadh Jose (S5, ME Dept), Ardra Shanmughan (S5, EEE Dept), Aruna R Menon (S5, CSE Dept), and Adarsh N A (S5, ME Dept). Their diligent efforts, under the guidance of faculty coordinators Mr Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer and Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Mr Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, ME Dept), and Ms Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, CSE Dept) ensured the smooth execution and success of the program.

The Editorial Team of News & Events joins the entire Vidya fraternity in extending hearty appreciation to the entire NSS Volunteers on the successful distribution  of the  Pothichooru (wrapped meals)  that  deserves a safe and a nutritious meal with dignity to someone underprivileged !!!
