Vidya received Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) Camp Award

The NSS Units of  Vidya create awareness and encouraging voluntary blood donation by hosting Voluntary Blood Donation campus in the campus.

Vidya was honored with the Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) Camp Award by the Government Medical College, Thrissur  on 01 December  2024 in recognition of the successful blood donation drive conducted on 16 August  2024. The camp was organized in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), achieved a remarkable milestone by collecting 100 voluntary blood donations on a single day.

The program was meticulously coordinated by the NSS Volunteer Secretaries, Aswathy E S (S5,ECE Dept), Mrithyunjay R (S5,ME Dept), Nistal K Paul (S5,ME Dept),Devika Mothilal (S5, CSE Dept),Obadh Jose (S5,ME Dept), Ardra Shanmughan (S5,EEE Dept),Aruna R Menon (S5, CSE Dept) and Adarsh N A (S5,ME Dept). They worked jointly with the Rudhirasena Co-ordinators, Aswin P Prakash (S5,ME Dept), Aljin (S5,ME Dept) and Frijo Antony (S5,ME Dept) to ensure the smooth execution of the event.

Mr. Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer and Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Mr. Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, ME Dept) and Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, CSE Dept) provided  guidance and their  leadership and direction were pivotal to the success of the initiative.
