‘VYUHA’ takes flight : Vidya College Magazine Releasing Ceremony

‘VYUHA’ – Vidya college magazine for the academic year 2023-24 presents a vibrant testimony of our college community’s imagination, resilience, and collective creativity. As a reflection of the intellectual and cultural achievements of our students and faculty, this year’s magazine edition by Vidh Vangmay Editorial Board Member, is a vibrant display of articles, artworks, and photographs that have framed the dynamic campus life during the year.
The college magazine of the academic year 2023-24, a reflection of the creativity and intellectual exertions of our students and faculty, was inaugurated formally on 30 December 2024 at Pranavam Auditorium. The College Magazine Releasing Ceremony was held with enthusiasm, celebrating the collective efforts of students and faculty in creating the magazine ‘Vyuha’. The event began with a warm welcome, followed by the unveiling of the magazine by Dr Sunitha C (Principal) whose leadership has guided the institution towards excellence. The magazine’s title, ‘Vyuha’, symbolizes strategy, creativity, and collaboration, reflecting the values of Vidya Academy. The event, which was held under the auspices of Vidh Vangmay,the Magazine Committee of Vidya, unfolded with a series of inspiring moments, starting with a warm welcome address. Recognizing the dedication of the team, certificates were distributed to the Editorial Board members. The highlight of the ceremony was undoubtedly the unveiling of the inaugural edition of Vyuha, followed by an inspiring address from the esteemed Principal. Special appreciation was extended to the Editorial Board and faculty members whose invaluable contributions were instrumental in bringing the magazine to fruition.
The unwavering support of Devanand T (S7, CSE Dept) and Rajeev Nair (S3, MCA) were pivotal in shaping the success of ‘Vyuha’. Challenges Faced The process of bringing the magazine to life was not without its setbacks. Some of the great challenges included: Time Constraints: Overlaps with semester examinations created massive challenges for the editorial teams and contributors, as all had to balance their other academic priorities with work put into the magazine. Coordination with the press amid these delays added pressure to the process, and changes at the last minute made the process even more complicated. Co-ordination of multiple sources of contributions while trying to maintain high standards proved to be a test for the team’s perseverance. The event was expertly anchored by Dhrishya Anil (S6, CSE Dept), whose skillful guidance ensured a seamless flow for the audience. Her engaging presence and professional hosting kept the audience captivated throughout the ceremony, contributing significantly to its success.
