CE Dept 2006-10 Batch Alumni reunion ‘Reconnect to Reflect’ brings joyful moment of reuniting with old friends

The Dept of CE interacts with alumni and alms matters, which is a grand method to reconnect and  share some special bonding .

The Alumni Reunion of 2006-10 batch of the Civil Engineering Dept was held online on 22 December  2024 at 7 pm through google meet platform, providing an opportunity for alumni to share their experiences and strengthen their bond with the institution. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation and engaging activities.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Ms Chithra M (Alumni Co-ordinator, Asst Prof, CE Dept) who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants for joining the reunion. The coordinator highlighted the importance of alumni in shaping the institution’s legacy and importance of improving student alumni interaction through technical talks, collaborative projects, internships etc. .

A nostalgic video featuring old photos and memorable moments from the institution’s history wasshowcased. The presentation evoked a sense of belonging and brought smiles to all participants as they revisited cherished memories. Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept) and teachers shared heartfelt memories of their time with the alumni. They expressed their pride in the achievements of the alumni and emphasized the importance of their contributions to society.

Participants, spoke about their personal and professional experiences and their aspirations for the future. These personal experiences  were both inspiring and motivational for all attendees.

The reunion concluded with a vote of thanks by the Alumni Coordinator, who acknowledged the efforts ofthe organizing team and the enthusiasm of the participants. The event successfully rekindled connections and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.
