Aptitude preparation – a session by Vidya alumnus Mr Karthik Keshav

In the run up to the placement season for the final year students of the 2025 graduating batch, a motivational session was provided by none other than Vidya alumnus Mr Karthik Keshav (2008- 12, B. Tech Batch,Production Engineering Dept). He got placed from the campus and went on to be a professional trainer, to founding his own company, and then did is Executive MBA from IIM, Kozhikode. He is currently working as a consultant to various startups besides nurturing his passion for teaching and training.

A total of 135 final year students attended the session held on  31 January 2025 .

A master orator that he is, Karthik deployed the satirical style to extoll the students about the values of (i) problem solving skills, (ii) the need for common sense, and (iii) the need to take initiative. In his 2 hour long captivation session he held the audience spellbound and literally touched upon all areas of aptitude skills without naming any topic. In fact he touched upon verbal skills, logical reasoning skills, and topics of quantitative skills without spelling any of these topics literally.
