IE(I) – Vidya Students Chapter organizes session on “From Campus to Corporate: Excel in Interviews”

With its countrywide and global existence through 124 Centres spread all over India, 6 Overseas Chapters,The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE(I) has been aiding the engineering fraternity over many decades .The Institution encompasses 15  engineering disciplines with a Corporate membership.IE(I) at Vidya has been serving a pivotal role in defining distinction and setting up greater scales for upliftment of engineering education.

With an aim to  emphasize critical aspects of interview preparation, including personal branding, effective communication, and understanding corporate expectations a session titled “From Campus to Corporate : Excel in Interviews” was held under the auspices of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE(I), VAST Students Chapter on 03 January 2025. Dr Thomas John V (Chairman, IE(I), Trichur Local Center) served as the resource person.

 With his extensive expertise, Dr. Thomas shared valuable insights and practical strategies to help students transition seamlessly from academic life to professional careers, particularly focusing on excelling in interviews. Students from various disciplines actively participated. Dr Sunitha C (Principal) in her speech stressed  the importance of  verbal and non-verbal communication, body language, confidence etc.The Principal handed over a memento to Dr Thomas as  a symbol of respect.

The event was well coordinated by Ms Roshni Vijay (IE(I) Students Chapter Co-ordinator, Asst Prof, CE Dept).
