Vidya NSS Units host Rudhirasena Regional Co-ordinators State Meet 2025
Rudhirasena, a flagship program of NSS, is dedicated to promoting voluntary blood donation and establishing a structured network of donors to address emergency medical needs efficiently. The Rudhirasena Regional Coordinators State Meet was successfully convened at Vidya on 18 January 2025.This initiative plays a crucial role in saving lives by ensuring the timely availability of blood for those in need.
Inaugural Ceremony
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended to all attendees by Aswin P Prakash (NSS volunteer and Rudhirasena student RC TCR-PKD region, S6, CSE Dept) emphasizing the significance of the meet and the collaborative efforts of all regional teams in driving the vision of Rudhirasena forward.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, ME Dept). The Chief Guest, Mr. Vipin Krishna R (TCR-PKD NSS Regional Coordinator) inaugurated the meet and delivered an insightful speech, highlighting the role of NSS in fostering social responsibility and leadership among students.
Following the inauguration, Mr Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer and Asso Prof, EEE Dept) delivered the felicitation speech, acknowledging the efforts of the coordinators and volunteers in organizing the event. The official ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Rithuparna C R (Rudhirasena student RC TCR-PKD region).
Presentation and Discussions
After the inaugural session, Mr Rejumon R (TCR-PKD Rudhirasena Regional Coordinator) along with all Student Regional Coordinators (RC), presented a comprehensive report on the current status of Rudhirasena activities across various regions. Discussions were held on forthcoming initiatives, strategies for enhancing participation, and methods to further strengthen the impact of NSS activities.
Volunteer Engagement and Coordination
Rudhirasena Regional Coordinators from all participating regions actively engaged in discussions, exchanging ideas and best practices. The one-day event provided an opportunity for meaningful interactions and networking among coordinators. Refreshments and lunch were arranged for all attendees, ensuring a comfortable experience for the volunteers.
The program was meticulously coordinated by NSS Volunteer Secretaries Aswathy E S (S6, CSE Dept), Mrithyunjay R (S6, EEE Dept), Nistal K Paul (S6, ME Dept), DevikaMothilal (S6, ECE Dept), Obadh Jose (S6, ME Dept), Ardra Shanmughan (S6, EEE Dept), Aruna R Menon(S6, CSE Dept), and Adarsh N A (S6, ME Dept), along with Rudhirasena coordinators Aswin P Prakash (S6, CSE Dept) and Aljin Joby (S6, CSE Dept) under the able guidance of Mr Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer, Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Mr Ranjith E R ((NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, ME Dept), Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, CSE Dept) and Ms.Anu Maria Antony (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, CE Dept)
The event brought together Regional Coordinators (RCs) and Student Regional Coordinators from various regions, fostering discussions on the present and future activities of the Rudhirasena initiative under the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The Rudhirasena Regional Coordinators State Meet 2025 served as an essential platform for collaboration, planning the mission of NSS through Rudhirasena initiatives.
