CE Dept conducts ‘Hands on workshop on reinforcement and related Quantity take off’

The Dept of CE provides various platforms with practical skills and knowledge in estimating the reinforcement materials required for construction projects . The workshop titled “Reinforcement and related Quantity take off” was hosted by CE Dept during  06- 10 January  2025 for final year B. Tech students of Civil Engineering Department.

 A total of 81 students participated in the workshop, which was an engaging and enriching experience for all.  The resource person and his team was warmly welcomed by Dr Abhilasha P S (Professor  & HoD, CE Dept)

The session was a hands-on workshop on Reinforcement and related Quantity take off, led by Mr Sudhi Naveetham (Lead Trainer, IQSS (Institute of Quantity Surveyors)). The hands-on workshop on reinforcement and related quantity take-off was designed. The workshop aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical understanding and practical application. Certificates of participation were distributed to the students at the end of the workshop. The students expressed their delight and appreciation for the experience.
