CSE faculty member and students present award-winning Best Paper at the International Conference on Intelligent Techniques in Computer and Engineering Science
Vidya aims to promote and share knowledge about intelligent technologies, foster collaboration, and catalyze breakthroughs in science, engineering, and technology
A group of students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, along with a faculty mentor, recently achieved a significant milestone by presenting their research at the 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Techniques in Computer and Engineering Science (ITCES’25), held on March 10–11, 2025, at the College of Engineering Perumon, Kollam, Kerala.
Their paper, titled “AI-Based Epileptic Seizure Prediction System (Track 9),” was recognized for its innovation and impact, winning accolades at the event. The study proposes a deep learning-based system designed to predict epileptic seizures ahead of time—offering a vital contribution to the healthcare field by enabling early intervention and enhancing the lives of epilepsy patients.
The research was undertaken as part of their B.Tech by students Adersh Mohan Puthiyedath (S8, CSE Dept), Alind Wilson (S8, CSE Dept), Ansil T A (S,8 CSE Dept), and Devanarayanan Anil (S8, CSE Dept), under the mentorship of Ms Anitha L (Asst.Prof, CSE Dept) .
The Editorial Team of News & Events joins the entire Vidya fraternity in extending heartiest congratulations to Ms Anitha, Adersh, Alind, Ansil and Devanarayanan on the successful presentation of the best paper that enriches the global pool of knowledge, inspires forward-thinking approaches, and trends to address the complexities of our ever-evolving world !!! |
