CSE Faculty Member and Students publish research paper in IJAECS

Publishing an article in international journals always serves as the best way to display new ideas to society.

A team of students and a faculty member from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department published a research paper in the prestigious International Journal of Advances in Electronics and Computer Science (IJAECS), Volume 11, Issue 5 (May 2024).

The paper, titled “AI-Powered Chatbot for College Management,” presents the design and implementation of an AI-powered chatbot developed using Python’s Django framework. The chatbot is designed to optimize and automate communication within academic institutions by providing instant, accurate, and user-friendly responses to frequently asked questions. It facilitates services such as college admissions, bus pass applications, course details, fee inquiries, timetables, faculty information, exam schedules, attendance tracking, upcoming events, and general academic queries.

The research was conducted by students Athul Krishna Prasanth (S8, CSE Dept), Devanand T (S8, CSE Dept), Akhila S Menon (S8, CSE Dept), Nayana P S (S8, CSE Dept) and Catherine P George (S8, CSE Dept), as part of their B.Tech project, under the guidance of Ms. Delmy David V (Asst Prof, CSE Dept).
