CE Dept undertakes Soil Quality Inspection at Ayyankunnu, Mundur
The Department of Civil Engineering continues to extend its expertise beyond the campus by actively engaging in community-oriented technical services.
The CE Dept served as the Consultancy Agency Quality Inspection Team for soil testing at Ayyankunnu,Anjur,Mundur As part of its quality inspection efforts,Dr Abhilasha P.S (HoD, CE Dept) and Mr.Renjith R (Asst Prof, CE Dept) visited the proposed construction site at Ayyankunnu,Anjur,Mundur on 04 April 2025. The proposed project is that of an IT park .The team is entrusted to check the safety during cutting and filling of the earthwork in the proposed site This initiative involves conducting comprehensive soil investigations to assess its suitability and stability for upcoming construction and development activities in the region.
The team, comprising faculty members and technical staff, is applying advanced geotechnical testing methods to ensure the reliability and safety of the site. This collaborative effort reflects the department’s commitment to contributing to sustainable infrastructure development and public service through applied engineering practices.
