CE HoD participates in seminar on ‘Corrective Measures for Bad Construction Practice’

Vidya faculty members  contribute to promoting quality and sustainability by participating in various knowledge-sharing sessions and industry-focused events.

Dr Abhilasha P.S (HoD, CE Dept) participated in a highly relevant seminar on “Corrective Measures for Bad Construction Practices” organized under the aegis of the Integrated Civil Engineering Council (ICEC). The event was conducted as part of the Engineers Meet, jointly organized by ICEC in association with LA GREENS – Smart Solutions for Sustainable Constructions on 11 April 2025 at Hotel Pearl Regency, Thrissur.

The seminar featured insights from distinguished professionals, including Er. T. N. Raman Bhattathiripad (Retired Superintending Engineer, Kerala Government Service). He also served as General Manager of the Kerala State Construction Corporation Limited and Former Chief Engineer of the Cochin Devaswom Board. His wealth of experience added immense value to the session.

The seminar focused on identifying common faults in construction practices and discussing effective corrective measures. Such events play a vital role in the construction industry by:
