ME Faculty Member achieves Elite+Gold Topper Status in prestigious NPTEL Additive Manufacturing Course

The Dept of ME takes immense pride in announcing that Mr. Sarath Babu Ramachandran (Asst Prof, ME Dept) has earned national academic recognition by successfully completing the NPTEL course titled ‘Navigating the Latest Trends in Additive Manufacturing Landscape’. He secured an impressive 91% score, earning the distinction of Elite+Gold Topper status.

This 4-week intensive course, held from February to March 2025, was part of the prestigious National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), an initiative by the IITs and IISc aimed at upskilling faculty and professionals in emerging technological domains. The course focused on state-of-the-art developments and strategic trends in additive manufacturing, a key pillar in Industry 4.0.
