NSS Volunteers lead second phase of book digitization and library organization at Vaduthala Community Library

Following the success of the initial phase in March, the NSS Unit of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology resumed its efforts with a second phase of the Library Digitization and Book Arrangement Activity at Purogamana Kalavedhi Vayanashala, Vaduthala on 24 May 2025 . This phase concentrated on completing the digitization process and refining the library’s organizational system.This event followed the initial phase held on 29 March 2025 and aimed to digitize the remaining books in the library and improve the overall organization of its resources.

The participating volunteers worked diligently to digitize and systematically arrange 1,315 books, thereby improving the library’s operational efficiency and resource accessibility. Their meticulous work ensured that the digitized data was accurate and complete.

The successful execution of the activity was led by  NSS Volunteer Secretaries (Adarsh N A (S6, ME Dept) and Devika Mothilal (S6, ECE Dept) Their dedication, leadership, and organizational skills played a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of the event. The volunteers worked collaboratively, efficiently completing the assigned tasks and contributing to a more structured and accessible library system.The initiative was conducted under the guidance and support of Mr Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer,  Asso Prof, EEE Dept) and Ms.Anu Maria Antony (NSS Program Officer, Asst Prof, CE Dept).
