EEE Alumni Interaction highlights industry pathways in Earthing System Design

The EEE Department consistently takes proactive efforts to enhance students’ industry readiness by exposing them to real-world practices in earthing system design, estimation methodologies, and selection criteria for earthing components.

An Alumni Interaction Session titled “Pathways to Estimation and Designing & Selection Criteria for Earthing Components” was successfully organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Vidya  on 16 January 2026.

The programme was conducted under the initiative of E Ms. Sheeja G (Alumni Co-ordinator, Asst. Prof, EEE Dept) who delivered a warm welcome address and set the tone for the session. The event was organized with the guidance and support of Dr. Mary P. Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept) and with the active cooperation of all EEE faculty members, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.

The resource person for the session was Ms. Salini S. Kumar (M.Tech Power Electronics (2015–2017 Batch, EEE Dept). Ms. Salini is currently working as a Technical Engineer at Excer Global Pvt. Ltd. and is also a Chartered Engineer, reflecting her strong professional credentials. She was formally introduced by Ms. Akhila R, (Asst.
