CSE faculty member publishes paper in ‘International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems’
The publication in a reputed, peer-reviewed journal marks a commendable personal milestone and adds to the institution’s academic prestige.
The Department of CSE is immensely happy to share that the manuscript by Dr. Sanaj M. S. (Prof, CSE Dept) titled ‘Energy Efficient Task Scheduling in Cloud Computing with EcoTaskOpt: A Hybrid Ant Colony and Particle Swarm Optimization Approach’ has been published online in the prestigious journal International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems. This Springer SCIE Q2 journal is fully Open Access with an Impact Factor (IF) of 2.3.
EcoTaskOpt is a sophisticated hybrid bio-inspired optimization algorithm that bridges the gap between performance and sustainability. It combines the best of two “nature-inspired” worlds: Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO).
By merging these two techniques, EcoTaskOpt achieves what single-model algorithms cannot: a perfect balance between high-speed execution (Performance) and low power draw (Sustainability).
“Our goal was to prove that ‘Green Computing’ doesn’t have to mean ‘Slow Computing.’ With EcoTaskOpt, we’ve shown that intelligent, nature-inspired math can make the cloud both faster and more environmentally responsible.” — remarks by Dr. Sanaj M. S.
| The Editorial Team of News & Events joins the entire Vidya fraternity in extending hearty congratulations to Dr. Sanaj on this laudable triumph fosters an environment where ‘Green Computing’ is a tangible reality achieved through rigorous research and innovative problem-solving !!! |
