Akshaya Agni – Project Expo

The  Department  of  Electrical  and  Electronics  Engineering,  VAST  organized  a  Power Generation  Project  Contest,  “Akshaya  Agni”  on  03,  January  2013  in  the  College auditorium.  Prof.  Biswa  Nath  Datta  (Distinguished  Researcher)      inaugurated  the function. Dr. Sasidharan Sreedharan (HoD, EEE Dept) welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sudha Balagopalan  (Principal,  VAST)  delivered  the  presidential  address.  Dr.  K.B.M. Namboodiripad (Visiting Professor), Mr. Suresh Lal (Finance Director – VICT) felicitated
the  function.    Ms.  Mary  P.  Varghese  (Asso  Prof,  Dept  of  EEE)  proposed  the  vote  of thanks.  Six  colleges  participated  in  the  project  contests.    Govt.  Engg.  College  team bagged the first prize.
